President's Message

    Welcome to the 2009-2010 Bowling Season. Your Board of Directors has already started our planning for the upcoming year. With the loss of Memory Lanes, leagues have had to secure a new venue for this season and I believe most of the leagues formerly held at Memory have found new temporary sites. The ownership of Memory has vowed to rebuild, and the association is strongly behind to help in any way we can.  

    This year’s tournament lineup will see some minor changes. We have scheduled certain Women’s Tournaments to bowl in conjunction with Men’s Tournaments. By co-locating the tournaments we hope to offer a more efficient program and help build up our tournament competition.  

    Our website is our primary medium of communication to the bowlers, and it has been recognized as one of the best local bowling sites to be found. We welcome your comments and visits to our discussion groups. Those of you who regularly visit the site can attest to the fact that your voice is heard and answered. Many good ideas have sprung up from our website and we would like to see it grow.  This year more than ever we urge you to visit our site regularly. We will continue to post tournament results as soon as possible and provide you with “news you can use” about the bowling community in Monmouth County.   

    I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas with you and to keep you informed on the work of your Board of Directors.
