Welcome to the 2023-2024 Bowling Season.
Hello fellow bowlers! Welcome to the 2023 – 2024 bowling season. It is my responsibility that all Monmouth County bowlers have the best experience possible in your certified leagues and tournaments. Myself and all our board members are here to serve the bowlers we represent. We also represent Monmouth County USBC on the state and national level. We are here to help build leagues and move our county forward with new and innovative ways to ensure our county is state of the art for years to come. So please visit our website often. There is a lot of information to see and upcoming tournaments. Thank you and I hope to see you on the lanes.

2023 USBC Convention
Delegates from the Monmouth County USBC attended the 2023 USBC Convention at South Point in Las Vegas on April 24-27.
Monmouth County USBC was awarded a BVL Best Local Large Association Award, which was 2nd highest amount collected for the veterans in the nation.
In the picture are the 5 delegates in the back row: Mike Valanzano, Mike Smith, John Barrett, Mary Folgore and Bob Rogers. In the front are Libbi Fletcher and Chrissy Lee, USBC BVL Representatives.
2023 Hall of Fame Dinner
The Annual Hall of Fame and Officers Installation Dinner was held at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune, NJ, on September 17, 2023.
Youth Scholarships
The 2023 Monmouth County USBC Youth Scholarship and Awards Banquet was held at Charleston Springs Golf Course on August 15th, 2023. Congratulations are extended to all scholarship winners, including those Senior High School recipients: Daniel Elias, Andrew Kline, Gianna Masi and Christopher Steppat. We wish them them well as they go off to college. 2022-2023 Youth County Award winners are:
- Hi Avg Boy: Joe Dominguez - 226
- Hi Avg Girl: Leah Varela - 209
- Hi Series Boy: Daniel Robertson - 786
- Hi Series Boy: Leah Varela - 731
- 300 Games: James Auriemma, Andrew Kline, Daniel Robertson, Tommy SanFilippo and Leah Varela.

On Monday, November 21st, 2023, Monmouth County USBC presented our annual check at the NJ Veterans Home at Menlo Park.
We were very pleased to be able to donate funds for the veterans benefit. This money will be used to enhance the living experience for those suffering from Dementia / Alzheimer's, and give them a more homey environment. Equipment for their recreation activities will be purchased as part of this donation. In the past, our funds have supported to installation of aquariums to help the residents stay calm and relax.
During the 2022-2023 season, we collected over $25,000.00, of which $11,517 is designated for Menlo Park, $5,500 went to Fisher House to support the Veterans, $5,500 to Honor Flight and $2,500 goes to BVL for their national programs. We have partnered with the Menlo Park facility for over 15 years and have donated more than $85,000 since 2008. We applaud the bowlers of Monmouth County for supporting our efforts and being so willing to participate.
