Youngest bowler in NJ to achieve a 300 game


10-year-old 5th grader, Kai A. Strothers, from Maplewood, N.J., bowled a perfect game on Jan. 19, 2019 at Jersey Lanes in Linden. NJ.


While reaching the feat is an accomplishment, it’s also record breaking — he’s the youngest in New Jersey to bowl a perfect game, and one of the youngest in the nation.


2nd youngest bowler: Kenny Ryan Jr is the youngest bowler in New Jersey on record to have bowled a 300 game at the age of 12 years and 4 days. His achievement happened at Shore Lanes in Monmouth County in the Youth League on Saturday, May 10, 2008.

2 Man Team High Game


Ed Sabik Jr and William Taylor Sr both bowled Perfect Game 300's for a total of 600. This was achieved on July 19, 2001 in the Bayshore Doubles League at Strathmore Lanes.

3 Man team ties the highest single game ever bowled in Monmouth County – 855

3-man high team series

3-man team scored 3rd highest set nationally for the 2003-2004 season and the highest series ever bowled in Monmouth County - 2,354. This team also tied the 3-man Team High Game score of 855.

4 person mixed team high game

4-person mixed team scores 7th highest game nationally for the 2018-2019 season, and highest in Monmouth County history, 1062.


Scores were bowled at Howell Lanes in the Hankel Classic League on April 15, 2019, by team Radical Rita's.

The previous high game was bowled on March 16, 2005 at Memory Lanes in the Millie Winters League by Diane Macleod (208), Cara Lukosius (300), Kathy Karinja (276) and John Phillips Jr. (258) for a High Game Total of 1042, which was the highest game nationally for the 2004-2005 season and 2nd nationally all-time with the highest at 1045.


At a tie for 2nd place, the 4-person mixed high team game of 1042 was bowled on April 9, 2016 at Middletown Harmony Bowl during the 69th Annual Open Championships by Kyle Konkus (238), Dottie Artale Salinas (298), Walter McKnight Jr (226) and William K Sims (280).

4-person mixed team high series 

High 4-person mixed high team series was bowled on February 13, 2023, at Howell Lanes in the George Hankel Classic league by team Sak'e Bombs!


In the picture: Steffen Schenkenberger (810), Amanda Nardiello (782), Karsyn Lukosius (749), and Eric Nilson (700), for a series total of 3041. This team set the new 5th place national record for two women, two men series with a 3041 as of February 13, 2023.


The previous 4-person mixed high team series of 2975 was bowled on April 9, 2016 at Middletown Harmony Bowl during the 69th Annual Open Championships by Kyle Konkus (734), Dottie Artale Salinas (776), Walter McKnight Jr (729) and William K Sims (736).

High 4-man team high game of 1113 was bowled on March 17, 2018 at AMF Strathmore in the MC USBC 71st Annual Championship Tournament by the “Roxie Clean” Team by Russ Goss (246), George Williams (288), Tony Buczynski Jr (279) and Emil Dudas (300). Total series bowled was 3019.


In 2nd place is the 4-man team high game of 1074 was bowled on March 17, 2018 at AMF Strathmore in the MC USBC 71st Annual Championship Tournament by the “Colucci 4” Team by Lou Colucci (258), Vinny D’Ambrosio III (279), Steve Stein (279), Mike Fogarty (258). Total series bowled was 3053.


The previous 4-man team high game of 1068 was bowled on March 23, 2010 at Knob Hill Country Lanes by Tommy Dulovitz (255), Dan Trinkler (246), Vince Scelfo (288) and Gene Olson (279).

The 4-man high team series of 3053 was bowled on March 17, 2018 at AMF Strathmore in the MC USBC 71st Annual Championship Tournament by the “Colucci 4” Team by Lou Colucci (690), Vinny D’Ambrosio III (846), Steve Stein (746), Mike Fogarty (771). Highest game bowled was 1074.


In 2nd place is the 4-man team high series of 3019 that was bowled on March 17, 2018 at AMF Strathmore in the MC USBC 71st Annual Championship Tournament by the “Roxie Clean” team by Russ Goss (774), George Williams (758), Tony Buczynski Jr (742) and Emil Dudas (745). Highest game bowled was 1113.


The previous high series of 2722 was bowled on December 9, 2013 at Bradley Beach Bowl in the Ft. Monmouth Engineering Labs / Hexagon League by Dennis Giberson (703), Charles Jackson (662), Alexander Queen (681) and Dave Campbell (676). Highest game bowled was 1054.

5-man team high game

A game of 1319 was bowled on April 13, 2017 at The Lanes at Sea Girt.
