This is a Monmouth County USBC certified tournament. This tournament is open to
all bowlers, however, any bowler not sanctioned in Monmouth County will have to pay a one-time sanction fee of $6. Eligibility is for any youth bowlers who have not reached their 18th birthday prior to August 1, 2024.

Entries will be on a first come first serve basis. Scholarship prizes will be awarded to 1 out of every 4 youth bowlers. This will be a scratch tournament. There will be 4 divisions based on the combined team average.

TOURNAMENT RULES AND FORMAT
Eligibility
This is a Monmouth County USBC certified tournament. This tournament is open to all bowlers, however, any bowler not sanctioned in Monmouth County will have to pay a one-time sanction fee of $6. Eligibility is for any youth bowlers who have not reached their 18th birthday prior to August 1, 2024.
AVERAGES
In order of priority:
1) Highest 2023 2024 Winter League Average, minimum 21 games.
2) Highest 2024 Summer League Average, minimum 21 games
3) Highest 2022 2023 Winter League Average, minimum 21 games.
If none of these averages exist, the bowler must come in with an entering average of 220. We will only use a sport converted average if house average does not exist. All bowlers are subject to re-rating by the tournament director.
FORMAT
Each team will bowl 4 Baker Style games. Baker Style games are where one bowler throws the first frame and their partner throws the next frame. The youth bowler will bowl the first frame in games 1 and 3. The Adult bowler will bowl the first frame in games 2 and 4. Each bowler will bowl on the same lane throughout the entire tournament. At the end of the 3rd squad the top baker scores from all
squads will be awarded scholarships on a 1:4 ratio.
DRESS CODE
All bowlers must wear either a collared shirt, dye sublimated bowling shirt or a USBC jersey. Dress shorts, slacks and jeans are acceptable for Male bowlers. Female Bowlers may wear skirts, dress shorts, jeans or slacks.
AWARDS
Youth bowlers will be awarded Scholarship money on a 1:4 payout ratio and will be paid based on the number of entrants in each division. All prize money will be returned 100%. All Scholarship money will be sent to the recipient’s SMART account. Information about the USBC Smart Program is available at www.bowl.com. Youth bowlers may cash more than once.
Rules
All USBC Youth Tournament rules will be observed, and the decision of the tournament committee shall be final unless an appeal is made in accordance with USBC rule 329.
