BOWLERS TO VETERANS LINK (BVL)

BVL’s mission is to enhance veterans' lives through recreation therapy programs, having raised over $56 million since 1942 to support these services, including innovative Virtual Reality therapy for state veterans' homes.

Supporting Our Heroes: Monmouth County USBC's Commitment to "Brightening Veterans' Lives"

Monmouth County USBC is dedicated to doing whatever we can to "Brighten Veterans Lives". Since 2008, the MC USBC has donated over $148,000 to the BVL. The NJ Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park has received over $61,000 of that total with the rest supporting BVL's National programs.

BVL was founded in 1942 to help support America’s heroes in uniform. Since then, we have raised almost $50 million to provide recreational and therapeutic programs and services. These programs and services will help boost their morale and brighten spirits. Thanks to BVL, more than 550 active duty units have a portable carpet bowling lane at their disposal. Now they can step away from the stress of service and have fun with their comrades.

Through funding and support, these veterans recuperating at VA Medical Centers across the country can enjoy a movie, spend the afternoon hanging at a ball game, play a video game, be visited by friendly Labrador, or try their hand at painting.
