PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Welcome to the President's Corner, where our MC USBC President shares updates, expresses gratitude to our bowlers and board members, and outlines exciting plans for the year ahead.
This past weekend, on March 8, 2026, we held our 2025–2026 Open Meeting. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to attend. Your participation and support are what help keep our association strong.
I am also grateful to the bowlers of Monmouth County for once again entrusting me to serve as your President. It is truly an honor to represent this community and to continue working on behalf of the sport we all enjoy.
Over the past several years, the association has made significant improvements to our website, tournament applications, and tournament reporting. We have also focused on preserving and sharing our history by adding searchable average books dating back to 1958 and tournament reports from prior to 2004. Looking ahead, we plan to continue expanding bowler recognition through social media and by increasing our live streaming coverage on YouTube.
I would also like to thank the many board members who have chosen to continue serving for another two-year term. Your dedication and commitment to the organization are greatly appreciated. In addition, please join me in welcoming our newly elected board members: Walter McKnight, Dotti Artale Salinas, Joe SanFilippo, and Brianna Winters. We are also pleased to welcome our new volunteers, Suemia Filian and Scott Oran. Thank you all for joining our outstanding team — with your help, we will continue to achieve great things for MCUSBC.
Finally, but certainly not least, Ray Vogel and Joanne Ramsey have announced that they will be stepping down as directors of Monmouth County USBC. Ray and Joanne have been the lifeblood of this organization for the past four decades. Their dedication, leadership, and passion for bowling have helped shape MCUSBC into what it is today. We will formally celebrate their commitment at this year’s Hall of Fame Dinner, but for now please join me in thanking Ray and Joanne for their incredible contributions to our sport.
As always, we value your feedback to ensure that MCUSBC continues to move in the right direction. Please don’t hesitate to say hello at the lanes, share your thoughts on the updates, or offer suggestions on how we can make the association even better.
Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing you at the lanes.
