Competition is open to Monmouth County USBC Members who have bowled 21 games in one league in the current 2024-2025 winter season in Monmouth County by April 25, 2025 or 21 games in 2024 summer season in one league. Youth bowlers will not be allowed to participate in this tournament.

TOURNAMENT RULES AND FORMAT
- ELIGIBILITY: (All participants must be certified in Monmouth County for 2024-2025 season and must meet one of the following criteria): 21 games in one league in the current 2024-2025 winter season in Monmouth County by April 25, 2025. 21 games in 2024 summer season in one league. Youth bowlers will not be allowed to participate in this tournament.
- HANDICAP: Handicap is based on 90% of the difference between the teams highest entering average and a scratch figure of 480 per team.
- ENTERING AVERAGES: USBC certified averages are used in the follow order (based on a minimum of 21 games in a USBC certified league):
- A bowler will use the highest previous season’s standard USBC certified average, regardless of where bowl based on 21 games or more from 2023-2024.
- If bowler’s previous season is only from Sport/PBA league that individual will use the converted Sport/PBA average conversion chart.
- If no 2023-2024 Winter average, then use highest 2024 USBC certified Summer standard average of 21 games or more.
- If Summer average is only in a Sport/PBA league then the converted average will be used.
- A bowler who does not have a previous season USBC certified average shall be accepted on the basis of the highest 21 or more games USBC certified Standard average of the current regular season at the time of entry mailing or online registration. A WRITTEN VERIFICATION OF CURRENT AVERAGE MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THIS APPLICATION.
- A bowler who does not have a previous season USBC certified Standard average but only has a current Sport/PBA converted average at the time of entry mailing or online registration. A WRITTEN VERIFICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THIS APPLICATION.
- If a bowler’s current average is 15 pins or more higher than the previous year’s or summer average ((A) and (B) above), the current average must be used.
- If no averages from above list, bowler will enter with a 240 average.
- QUALIFYING AVERAGE: It shall be the responsibility of each bowler to verify the accuracy of his or her average, whether submitted by the bowler, partner, or any other representative. Failure to use proper average or to make proper correction prior to the completion of the first game of a series shall disqualify score, if submitted average is lower than actual average, prize winnings will be based on submitted averages. If higher Rule 319e applies
- MULTIPLE ENTRY: Each team shall consist of 1 man and 1 woman. Any bowler may bowl unlimited times as long as it is with a different partner.
- TOURNAMENT FORMAT: All teams will bowl 3 games on 1 pair of lanes. Total pinfall both scratch and with handicap included will determine final positions standings. Teams may win a prize in both scratch and handicap divisions. Ties for first place in either division will be decided in a 3 game roll off within 10 days. Prize monies will be combined and divided equally among all other position ties. All tournament rules apply during the roll off. Bowlers arriving late will bowl in the same frame as the team is bowling. No scoring for frames missed. Prizes will be split 75% handicap and 25% scratch.
- CONDUCT: Any individual that is charged by this tournament committee with misconduct, as described in USBC Rule 17b, during play of this tournament may be penalized by all or any of the following, loss of prize winnings for this event, suspension from participation in this event, refusal of future participation in this event.

Groups wanting to be scheduled together may make party reservations while spaces remain available prior to the entry closing date.
