Monmouth County Charles H. Bryde USBC Youth Scholarship Application 2024-2025 Year
Open to all High School Seniors Graduating in 2025
The Monmouth County USBC is pleased to announce that we are offering four (4) $1,000.00 Scholarship Awards to four (4) youth bowlers who are showing great promise in both their academic and bowling careers. These scholarships are designed to recognize and support young athletes who demonstrate dedication, hard work, and excellence in both their education and the sport of bowling.
All completed applications must be submitted, emailed or postmarked no later than June 15th 2025. Please note it is the applicant’s responsibility to obtain certification of grades. Incomplete and/or applications submitted past the deadline will not be considered. No exceptions.
The athletes selected by the committee will receive an educational assistance award (scholarship) in the amount of $1,000 issued to the recipient’s SMART account.
The Award(s) will be presented to the winner at the Monmouth County Youth Awards Banquet on TBD (but August time frame).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Applicant must be a HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR, graduating in 2025.
2. Applicant must be a certified USBC Youth member in good standing.
3. Applicants must maintain at least a 3.0 (B) four-year average or equivalent. (Please include latest transcript.)
4. Applicant must be planning to further his/her education at an accredited college or trade school.
5. Applicant must provide coach and a minimum of one teacher references. If no coach, provide a minimum of two teacher references.
6. Applicants must have bowled at least 21 sanctioned games in Monmouth County and be certified in Monmouth County USBC for the 2023-2024 season.
7. Applicant must submit an essay of 250 words or less on how bowling has made a positive impact on his/her life. (see application).
